hmm, not concert Saturday night? Not even a video dance party? wow!

    • hanoverff

Hi Michele, We are having a FREE event Friday night… a licensed All Ages event at the Raceway featuring the Greg Williams Band (formerly Urban Rodeo) from 9-1. This wasn’t confirmed yet when the ‘tentative schedule’ was published. Greg Williams has competed on The Next Country Star, and will be performing at Havelock Country Jamboree on August 18. We are very excited to have him perform for us, and to be able to offer this special live entertainment event to our community. Hope you can join us!

  • Joseph

When will you bring someone big in again like Paul brandt. I bought tickets for a classified concert last year due to low ticket scenarios is that the reason we don’t get them round here no more?

    • hanoverff

Hi Joseph, Unfortunately our tickets sales over the years have been low and we have consistently lost money on these events. Paul Brandt was a great success, but it is increasingly harder to find performers who will appeal to a large audience and to get people out to our events. Greg Williams will put on a great show for us on August 11. We hope that you will be able to join us, and bring your friends!

  • Krystal

I heard there was a square dancing event, but I don’t see it mentioned?

    • hanoverff

      Hi Krystal,

Yes we do have square dancing. It was finalized after the brochure and schedule went to print, but they will be there on Saturday between 1 and 2:30. Hope you can come!

  • Edward Buckle

Will the midway be having a wrist band for the children or is it going to be paid tickets.

    • hanoverff

Hi Edward, Yes the midway will have ‘pay on price’ bracelets on all three days, with Saturday being a double Pay One Price
Day from – 11:00am to 5:00pm and 5:00pm to 11:00pm. The price per bracelet is $30.00 plus hst. There is no admission charge for all other events at the fair! Hope to see you there!

    This is Magical Midways
There’s a correction to the above post.
    There are wristbands everyday for
$35.00 HST included. There is no double wristband for any day.
The wristbands for Saturday will be sold until 9:00 pm good until closing.
Sunday the wristbands will be sold until 3:30 good until closing.
    Thank you

    • hanoverff

Thanks for clearing that up Sheri. Still time to take in the midway at the Hanover Fair! Saturday until 11pm, and Sunday 11 to 5.

  • A big thank you to you for the Cookie Contest – we were thrilled to take home the big prize and for the support you showed to local non-profit organizations!
